Herbals & Supplements
A natural alternative for a healthy lifestyle

In this section on Herbals  & Supplements, we will not get into all the talk about herbals & supplements being around for centuries and how the medical profession still doesn't fully recognize the importance that herbals &  supplementation can provide in "preventative medicine".  We will cover the proclaimed benefits of different herbals and allow you to decide about your personal choice to supplement or not to supplement.  The information contained in these articles is meant for information only and is not a recommendation or an endorsement of any of the herbals &  supplements mentioned in any of the articles.  You are advised to consult with your physician or health care professional before you start taking herbals &  supplements.  With the "legalese" out of the way, let's get on with it!

Siberian Ginseng for ENERGY

Are you feeling a little tired?  Are you lacking energy for your active lifestyle?  Have you been taking your Siberian Ginseng?  Siberian Ginseng is the way to reinvigorate yourself for your fast paced lifestyle.

Ginseng is an ivy type plant available in three different varieties:

    • Chinese/Korean Ginseng
    • American Ginseng
    • Siberian Ginseng

There have been reported cases of ill side effects in the use of Chinese/Korean Ginseng and American Ginseng so we will be focusing on the benefits of Siberian Ginseng, where there are little or no side effects.

Ginseng, like most herbal supplements, has been known to man for centuries and has quite a colorful past.  Some of the folklore (sometimes folklore is true) associated with Ginseng is that it could be used for strengthening any part of the body.  It was thought that it could be used to combat blood disorders, cancer, senility, aging and just about anything else.  Stories abound about Ginseng being a sexual stimulant and aphrodisiac (just folklore ladies).

Folklore aside, Siberian Ginseng has been studied for its effects in combating fatigue and relieving stress.  In other studies, Siberian Ginseng has been found to boost the immune system and help the body regulate blood sugar.  Ask any person, who is a regular Siberian Ginseng user if it is working for them and you will find out that it has quite a loyal following.

The suggested daily amount is not to exceed 2 - 3 grams of Siberian Ginseng.  Of course, consult your physician or health care professional before starting to take any herbal supplement and report immediately any ill effects or if you don't feel well after taking herbal supplements.  It is recommended that you purchase your herbal supplements from a reliable and reputable source to ensure that you get quality product.

So if you are living in the fast lane or just want to boost your energy, do it with Siberian Ginseng.
